Mount Lavina Lodge is located in one of the best recreational areas in BC just 30 minutes north of Kaslo along scenic Highway 31 near the small township of Meadow Creek. It is the perfect jumping off point to explore the breathtaking Purcell Mountain Range, an outdoor enthusiasts dream.
Mount Lavina Lodge is conveniently nestled between well-known Kootenay Lake and the more isolated Duncan Lake on 45 acres of meadows and forest. It is situated on Hamill Creek flats, a wide and open valley that offers beautiful mountain views and is a refuge for wildlife. This unique spot is set on prime farmland that is worked by a local farmer, producing organic vegetables and raising beef. The last two kilometers that lead to our secluded and very private location you will travel on unpaved roads and will discover that nature is literally at your doorstep!
Enjoy hiking or biking nearby trails, exploring glaciers, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, ATV'ing, snowmobiling, backcountry skiing and much more.
The Lodge
Mount Lavina Lodge is the original farm house consisting of two parts. The main part being occupied by a full time caretaker that will gladly answer any questions you may have during your stay. Our vacation suite is adjoined to the main part and features a seperate entrance for privacy.
Our fully furnished suite Sleeps 2 – 4 people (2 Adults / 2 children or youth). It includes a separate bedroom with a king size bed and a Tempur-Pedic™ mattress for your comfort, a bedside table on each side, a 5 drawer chest for your belongings and a full length mirror. Your private bathroom features a shower, a fitted basin unit, a toilette and some storage room. A highly functional kitchenette is equipped with ceramic top stove, overhead microwave and fridge, pots, pans and dishes are included as well as a coffeemaker.
The sunlit open concept dining room/ living room area lets you experience the view of Meadow Mountain while enjoying your meals. It also contains a comfy couch that can be made in to a queen size bed, a flat screen TV, satellite programming and a Blue Ray player. Wi-Fi is free of charge and a phone is available (free local calls) that can be used with a prepaid phone card. Sorry no cell phone reception.
A Laundry facility is available for you to use at designated times, as well as a storage room for your equipment.
A private entrance with ample parking space is provided for your convenience. To be able to fully enjoy the beauty of nature, we have provided you with an outdoor sitting area, including a BBQ, that is easy accessible from the kitchen.

Even though Mount Lavina Lodge is off the beaten path, it is only 7 minutes to the Lardeau Valley Service gas station and convenience store located in Cooper Creek. If you continue along for another 5 minutes you will find theMeadow Creek grocery store and the post office which has food, gas, a restaurant, liquor depot and other amenities.
